COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Business Response Review

As society struggles with the profound impact of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), many organizations have stepped up to help communities in responding to the pandemic.

On March 18, 2020, we began compiling public news of engagement by the business and philanthropy circles in Turkey in order to inform our own efforts at Özyeğin Social Investments and included selected international examples in different sectors to obtain a global outlook.

The first compilation we published on April 9, 2020 was received with much enthusiasm from colleagues in Turkey and abroad, therefore we decided to share our review updates with you through this website: COVID-19BRR for easier access. While by no means exhaustive, the examples we shared here served to inform our own understanding in how organisations responded to the crisis in the initial days.

We hope you will find this compilation and the following reviews informative for designing and enhancing your organizational efforts in contributing your part to alleviating this humanitarian crisis.
